DRAMA: BE A STAR!

Students Wanted!  Enjoy putting on a play and creating exciting costumes and artistic scenery.  Puppets, make-up, and charades will be enjoyed by all!

HOLLYWOOD! HERE WE COME!

Love theatre?  Wonder which part you would like to play best?  Then come and check out exciting acting and theatre opportunities this summer!  Together we will have fun as we try different kinds of acting from improvisation and dramatic readings to doing skits and even a play.

EVERYONE CAN BE FUNNY: AN IMPROV.

COMEDY COURSE

Anyone can do what the stars of Second City, Who’s Line is It Anyways?, and SNL do!  All you need is a stage and some guidance, and this class provides both!  Students will learn the basic rules of improv. comedy through practice, exercises, and (of course) performance.  No experience needed!

LIGHTS!  CAMERA!  ACTION!

Why just watch movies when you could make them!  Learn to write, film, and edit your own movies.  You will learn about planning shots, using digital cameras, filming your actors, and everything else you need to make it in Hollywood.

GUESS WHO?  YOU!

Portraits made easy!  Learn the basics of how to create a life-like portrait of your favorite fairy tale character and even yourself!

ART AROUND THE WORLD!

Take a trip around the world with unique, hands-on projects and music!  Each art project reflects culture or geography of a different country.  Grades 1-3: You’ll create 3-D tree frogs from the rainforests of Brazil, bark paintings from Australia, and much more!  Grades 3-6: You’ll make paper fish kites from Japan, carnival masks from the Caribbean, and much more!  Hope you enjoy the journey!

PICTURE THIS!

‘Paint with Light’ this summer by making your masterpieces with a camera!  Learn what photojournalists, family, and wedding photographers do to make their pictures exciting.  Even find out how National Geographic photographers make their pictures so breathtaking.  You will become the top photographer in your family!
